#FlashbackFriday

Today, I came across a whole bunch of photos of Brucy when she was a little kitten. Now, 2 years later, when she wakes me up 6 times a night because she wants to play/eat/run/bite my feet, I sometimes forget how cute and adorable she once was. I am sure many of you will agree that the kitten-days are the most blissful periods of owning a cat.

I know that it is an adopt-a-cat month and I will not lie, I am very tempted to adopt a cat #2. I would love to re-live the periods when your kitten fits in your palm as is too small to even jump on the sofa. Unfortunately, as I travel often, I am scared that finding a cat-sitter for two cats. But then Brucy would probably be excited to have a baby brother? What are your experiences with introducing a new cat into the family?

  1. Our last cat introduction, Frankie, did not go so well.Chris tormented him for weeks and now Chris wants to be friends but Frankie now torments Chris. Other than that, all of our other new cats fit it just fine. I think a kitten will be less of a threat to an established cat. I also think cats are social and one cat might be lonely when nobody is home. Also, females tend to fight with each other more than males (except for Frankie and Chris) so two females could be more risky.
