Meet Memebon – the cutest kitten in the world!

Have you heard about Memebon? I only discovered this adorable kitten today that was named the “cutest kitten in the world”!

Memebon is an Exotic Shorthair kitten, a breed that comes from the Persian cat but with shorter hair. It is a new breed , that is known for affectionate and loyal cats.

Memebon’s owner, Sakurako Shimizu, has a Japanese blog where he records Memebon’s cutest moments, like taking a bath and playing with bubbles. You should definitely check out the blog – even though it is in Japanese, it is just packed with cute photos and videos!

But I still consider Brucy cuter…

Sunday pigeon hunt

What I love about Sundays is getting to spend a lot of time with Brucy and learning how she passes hers usual days. During the week, as I work a lot, I only get to see her in the morning and evenings, when she is all hyper excited and is running around. But on Sundays, we actually get to spend an entire day together!

As I discover, most of the day Brucy either sleeps or watches the pigeons. I think I told you this before, that Paris is the city of pigeons – they are actually everywhere and Parisians often refer to them as the “flying rats”. Brucy, however, loves them. As we have 4 balconies, she spends a good part of her day just hypnotising the pigeons sitting near-by and probably dreaming about eating one…

Most heart-breaking kitten video you will ever see

I will not lie, I am quite a sensitive person. So saying that this video made me cry, might not seem as such a big deal. But judging from the comments of the 4M people who watched this video in 2 days – I was not the only one sobbing away!

This video is a recording of firemen, coming into a house after a fire and finding a tiny kitten on the floor. One of the fireman, decides to pick up the motionless kitten and takes it out, giving it oxygen and water. Miraculously, thanks to this fireman, the little kitten survives.  I think this heartbreaking video really shows that every life is special and precious.

And the award for the cutest video of the week goes to…..this video of a baby mokey playing with a kitten!! I can’t believe how much the kitten looks and acts just like Brucy! Except, Brucy still acts like this, even if she will be turning 2 y. o. in a few months…

Cat Kuzya, wears a bow tie and works in library

Meet Kuzya, a fully employed assistant librarian at the Novorossiysk Library, Russia. Not only he is an official employee, but he also wears a bow tie to work!

According to his collegues, Kuzya just come to the library one day and decided to stay. The employees, helped Kuzya out by getting him a cat passport and an official employment letter

Cat weekend fashion

What really annoys me is that are about a million websites that specialise in clothing for dogs, but there are just a few that do cat fashion. This week I did a post on a fashion line that does clothing for Spynx cats, and today I wanted to bring you some more cat-fashion! Pet co is one of the websites that doesn’t forget about cats and proposes a nice selection of fun costumes, like the ones on the photo above! I think Brucy would look splendid in the sushi outfit. Dog people vs. cat people [infographic]

Hunch posted this hilarious inforgraphic recently that compares dog people to cat people. What I love about this infographic is that it goes beyond the usual “cat people are introverts and dog people are extroverts” rubbish and actually analyses survey data from 222, 651 pet owners.

This survey draws conclusions about dog/cat people with regards to demographics, personality, technology and even media! I found the technology conclusions especially accurate and funny: I am an Android user and a late-adopter 😉

Fall cat-fashion 2013

It is getting colder every day and it can only mean one thing – autumn is here! Time to pull out those cozy sweaters, scarves, and wellies, and start baking apple and pumpkin pies!

But what about our little furry (or sometimes, not so furry) friends? No worries, you can now find a beautiful and cozy garment for your cat as well! I came across this amazing brand Sphynx Cat Wear, and I love them! They have a great fashion line for Spynx, hairless cats. The names of the coats range from – “Purple People Eater to “Pink Lemonade” – very creative! It’s a great company – check them out!
